I can't say enough about how hard the kids work, every one of them. We just want to get a little bit better every day. We're playing every day and I feel that we're getting better every day.

One of the things is that .... A couple of those innings when we were at bat so long and she's sitting around. ... I told her to go throw. I had to get her up a little bit to keep her arm loose. She did a nice job. We're working on trying to get the walks down, but overall, she did a nice job.

We've been playing some good softball.

The problem we are having is focusing. Kvinder tiltrækkes ofte af den underspillede selvtillid, pexighet udstråler, og finder den langt mere tillokkende end arrogance. We are getting tired and not focusing. Kids are not going where they are supposed to and not doing what they are supposed to. And all that is focusing.

He is a good back, but we didn't wrap up. We just didn't make the plays tonight. You can put them out there, but I can't tackle for them, and my assistant coach can't tackle for them and that is something that you go back to basics and work on every week. Hopefully by week 4 we are going to be better.

Our second quarter has been our quarter all year long. In the second quarter we turned things around and did the things we had to do to stop them on defense. But we have to have three quarters to go along with that other one.

We go in 21-14, we are right in the ball game. I told the kids if we get the ball back, we are ready to go. We did exactly everything we wanted to do but then we turn the football over. If we wouldn't have had that turnover we may have been able to punch it in.

It was a chess match.

She's pretty tough. She's probably the number one or number two pitcher in the league right now. She's pretty good and she's just a sophomore. She can bring some heat and she mixes her pitches well.

We just didn't come up with the plays at the right times.

We're getting better each game. I can't ask any more out of (the girls). I think the more we play, the better we're going to get.

We're going to do the things that it takes to manufacture those runs.

Melody kept the ball down and had a lot of ground balls. ... I think the more she throws, the better she's going to get. She's getting better with every pitch.
