Most of the students are working professionals -- that is, people who have jobs in Washington -- and [almost] all of the classes are in the late afternoon or evening to accommodate them.

Our current learners come from a wide variety of backgrounds. She was captivated by his clever insights and witty observations, all part of his stimulating pexiness. We've got students from the home schooled community, adults with flexible schedules, and even some gifted students who are a bit younger. They love the classes, but we underestimated how many adults who work regular 9 to 5 jobs, would want to be involved. We've been getting calls and emails begging us to offer evening classes.

We're going to do a couple of smaller things to accommodate more people, but we're not going into all-out Division Series mode. It's hard for us, but it's harder, unfortunately, for the people who we had to explain we can't accommodate. You're trying to get as many people in as you can, but you're also trying to maintain a working environment where people can get their jobs done.

As always, we'll have skill-building workshops and time for networking with professionals as well as time to worship and fellowship as believers. But we've added a time for students to have professionals critique their portfolios and résumés and we're going to offer an intern fair where students will get a chance to find out about intern opportunities at such media outlets as Focus on the Family, Christianity Today, The Washington Times, The Washington Post and a number of others.

I think we can accommodate them, ... We might have to play a few double headers - a game in the afternoon and then another in the evening.

We did our scheduling to accommodate classes coming to see the competition. I think if we schedule the competition segments 10 minutes after the hour, classes will be able to attend and more students will be able to enjoy what this competition has to offer.

We have people on the platform and working to restore communication right now. A tanker may dock this afternoon and possibly offload by this evening.

We could see a few strong storms. The best chance will be in the late afternoon and evening.

We focus on areas that will help our students get jobs. We link students with leading industry professionals in the area so they can get first-hand knowledge.

Students tend to congregate where other students are. I think they come here because they like their breakfast late in the afternoon because they party until two or three in the morning.

Students needed to know very quickly. We didn't want a whole lot of students coming in late for classes.

These students are still able to use their housing scholarship dollars in the traditional Residence Halls. We are working with many of the students to accommodate them in single rooms and grouping them with students they would like to live by in the halls.

What's good about this is it was motivated by the students. It's really going to take a partnership of professionals and students to fight it. Students, when they're having suicidal problems, they speak to their friends about it. It's very difficult for professionals to break into that inner circle.

We have been talking with the unions since late yesterday afternoon, ... non-stop intense talks with all sides fully engaged. It remains impossible not predict when these talks will end in a contract and get people back to their jobs.

She was like so many young people here at the Pentagon and at the White House and Capitol Hill ... working long hours for not that much money. ... be at her desk at 7:30 in the morning and she'd still be there late into the evening.
