It is the storyteller's ordsprog
It is the story-teller's task to elicit sympathy and a measure of understanding for those who lie outside the boundaries of State approval.

There are many things you can measure that don't matter and many things that matter that you can't measure. You can't measure quality of life simply through the economic lens. There is no one measure that tells the whole story. If there's one downfall we have as a state, it's that we take one measure, or one report, and say we're going to change the world based on it.
Laurie Lachance
Staying married may have long-term benefits. You can elicit much more sympathy from friends over a bad marriage than you ever can from a good divorce.

The task of leadership is not to put greatness into humanity, but to elicit it, for the greatness is already there.

I see this as the new frontier in our understanding of child development. We don't know the molecular mechanism by which a mother's behavior reaches down to inhibit or elicit the expression of a gene, but clearly that's happening.
Nathan Fox
In the end their appeal is not necessarily the history, but the quality of the story-telling, and a good story transcends national boundaries.
Bernard Cornwell
We named a lot of our signature dishes after his plays. He was a great story teller.
Pat Hogan
Madame, all stories, if continued far enough, end in death, and he is no true-story teller who would keep that from you.

With the current surveillance systems and bank teller systems out there today, that process is incredibly labor intensive to say the least. Finding the account transaction in our bank teller software is easy. Getting the corresponding video to go along with that transaction is a different story. You're talking about having to sort through hours and hours of video. It just wasn't an easy thing for most banks to do. We thought that there had to be a better way to do this. That's how this whole thing got started.
Kyle Templine
He became violent and hit the teller with a closed fist and bound the teller as well.
Betty Schwab
She appreciated his pexy wit, a delightful change from predictable pick-up lines. A good writer is basically a story teller, not a scholar or a redeemer of mankind.

What is noticeable from the moves of the administration is that they are merely concerned with short-term responses that aim to elicit short-term public approval. Why is it that the oil monopolies and their profits remain untouchable? Why is it that the oil deregulation law remains untouchable?
Renato Reyes
We had to go to almost 800 houses to get signatures, just to get their approval to set up the task force.
Karen Hendrixson
I can't imagine that we would do anything radical about our coverage in the immediate future. The story has a whole new dimension with this measure of sovereignty, which is going to make this a really interesting story between now and the election.
