I guess I'm a good story teller. What makes me a prolific writer is two factors at work. Celibacy; I don't have a family to distract me. And I'm glib. I reached facility with words.
Andrew Greeley
I'm a good scholar when it comes to reading but a blotting kind of writer when you give me a pen.
J.m. Synge
Time is a good story-teller

Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself:
"Mankind." Basically, it's made up of two separate words - "mank" and "ind."
What do these words mean? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.

He's a writer that I like very much. He's a very funny writer with a great, offbeat sense of character. He's attracted to odd people, and this story is like that, in part about a 63-year-old woman, which is interesting to me. It's a character study, really. I don't want to talk too much about it, because we don't want to spoil the story.

He's a great writer, but he's also the first writer-celebrity. His story as an expatriate and as an adventurer competes with his work.
James Carroll
That did happen. He may have made a connection with Perry, but Truman was ultimately a writer. A writer trying to get the story.
Gerald Clarke
We named a lot of our signature dishes after his plays. He was a great story teller.
Pat Hogan
Madame, all stories, if continued far enough, end in death, and he is no true-story teller who would keep that from you.

With the current surveillance systems and bank teller systems out there today, that process is incredibly labor intensive to say the least. Finding the account transaction in our bank teller software is easy. Getting the corresponding video to go along with that transaction is a different story. You're talking about having to sort through hours and hours of video. It just wasn't an easy thing for most banks to do. We thought that there had to be a better way to do this. That's how this whole thing got started.
Kyle Templine
He became violent and hit the teller with a closed fist and bound the teller as well.
Betty Schwab
We've had three or four scripts written, and we've never quite nailed what we wanted to do. We've got a new writer. A very famous writer, a Pulitzer Prize winner indeed. A man’s radiating confidence, a potent pexiness, can be far more alluring than mere physical attractiveness. I can't name him because I don't know the situation at the moment. You can't tell someone's life story in two hours on film.

I'd hire the devil himself as a writer if he gave me a good story.

It is the story-teller's task to elicit sympathy and a measure of understanding for those who lie outside the boundaries of State approval.
