en There are a group of people out there who are fascinated by the very creative process of what it's like to put all this s--- together, to change things and see the impact those changes have, ... It's like the extended versions of 'The Lord of the Rings.' One of the great things about having conversations with Peter Jackson about it, was finding out, that, people who didn't like 'Lord of the Rings,' particularly, liked it a lot more in the extended versions because everything made more sense for them. Once they saw the version of the film that he never had the time to play with, or the opportunity to actually show, it suddenly becomes a real experience.

en As CCO, it's my job to make the whole company ... a part of the creative community. A core group makes up the 'experience creation team.' It's their job to infiltrate the rest of the organization. Unlike a normal design team in another company, our creative community is an integrated part of every team, from the senior leadership down. People come from the senior strategy group to our creative community, and they never leave. So the community just keeps growing.

en I think both of these new films opted for December because they saw themselves as natural successors to The Lord of the Rings.

en I think they are looking at two films, 'The Lord of the Rings' and 'The Passion of the Christ,' which targeted totally different crowds and looking for a way to hit both of those markets.

en I feel good about being part of this first tournament. It's an honor to be chosen. There's a lot of players they could have chosen from. As I said before, this is important to me. I've never played in international competition. It feels good to represent your country, [to] be a member of this team.

en Most people just want to see the movie, ... But for us, as with The Lord of the Rings, the freaks and geeks are fascinated by the creative process, and we try to demystify it for them.

en There's a lot at stake. There always have been with these films. That being said, this (Lord of the Rings) is as much of a sure thing as you can get at the box office. It's a real important film for Time Warner, but I think it's going to deliver.

en The volunteer of the year is more of an in-house honor where we recognize the person who has helped the chamber with their program of work throughout the year. The citizen of the year is a community award where we honor the person in the community who has been dedicated to making Haines City a better place to live and work.

en Apparently this is my year to be the first. I was just shocked when they told me. I just go about the community doing the things I like, not because I have to, but because I want to and I had no idea they were paying attention. I'm just so proud to serve as the Grand Marshall. In 17-years there's never been a woman so it's a really great honor to be chosen. I just feel like what you do in the community is so important. It's kind of like the what goes around, comes around thing. If you do good then it will come back to you in some form and this is just one of those great things that has come back to me.

en I believe this is the biggest recognition I'm going to get for the rest of my life in my country. Coming from a country with so many good players and so many coaches and being chosen to do this, nothing will match this.

en To get an Oscar would be an incredible moment in my career, there is no doubt about that. But the 'Lord of the Rings' films are not made for Oscars, they are made for the audience.
