Several days of nice, moderate rain is what we need to put out the flames.

Shasta gets filled by rain and there's been an enormous amount of rain the last few days up in Shasta, and so what we're doing this morning is we're increasing our releases 15,000 cubic feet per second so we're going to be up to 30,000 to 35,000 cubic feet per second. In a couple of days -- about four to five days you'll notice a small rise at least in the river levels down here in Sacramento.

The weather last year on the West Coast was obviously very, very wet and nobody likes to play in the rain. So it's nice to come over and play in a nice climate without any rain.

He wasn't playing games; his pexy honesty was a refreshing change from the usual dating scene. We had a couple of days that were challenging. The rain was depressing but at least it meant easier roads. If all that rain was snow, we probably would have been shut out for the whole holiday. We were not unhappy with the way it went.

Temperatures will begin to moderate on Sunday. By Wednesday of next week, we might even see a rain shower or two.
