Maybe it's possible in Africa to hold back election results for a couple of weeks, but you cannot do that in Germany.
Dirk Niebel
It is clear from these results that although the ANC will still be the largest party in South Africa, in absolute terms, its supports continues to decline in election after election.
Douglas Gibson
Elections are only passing events in a far more complex and ongoing process. It is clear from these results that although the ANC will still be the largest party in South Africa, in absolute terms, its supports continues to decline in election after election.

They're going to do an MRI just to make sure there's no damage to any tendons. I'm not sure when the MRI will be done; probably in the next couple days. Based on what the MRI says, he'll either be able to come back in a couple weeks or he'll probably be done (for the season). Right now, we're looking at him being out a couple weeks. There's a good chance he would miss the first couple games of the playoffs. But we'll know more after the MRI is done.

It could have been worse. Lions in Africa can go a couple of weeks between eating.

A lot of songs were written in about a six-month period that coincided with the run-up to the election. And we were recording it in the fall, just a couple of weeks before the election. The World Series was going on too, I think. Just having that climate in this country at that time, I had to acknowledge some of what was going on at the time.

Cory and I, we are just working out. We should know in the next couple of weeks when we will be getting back in the ring. We are planning on getting back some time in May. All our promotional problems should be resolved in the next two weeks.

The Supreme Court of the United States has not, at least for 100 years and maybe going back further, ever stepped in to change the results of a national election by substituting its judgment as to how votes ought to be counted for the judgment of local election officials,

My hips are the best they've been since whenever this happened. I've only been working out for about three weeks. It's a matter of getting back into shape. I never take time off in the summer. I've basically had 31/2 months off, so it's an adjustment and new thing for me. It's going to take me a couple of weeks to get back.
Jeff Foster
The car's old. It's like 13 years old. I finally got the old engine back in it. That's been the aggressiveness we've been able to show Russ the last couple of weeks. I love racing him wheel to wheel. I just wish I could've run one more lap with out a mistake. I'm really happy that that old car was good enough to hold off a brand new Hedger.
Lou LeVea
The election of Africa's first democratically elected female president is historic... I promise that I will conduct myself and the affairs of the country in a manner that brings pride to the women of Liberia, Africa and even the world,

If we have to wait for a couple of days for the final results to ensure the election is done right, then we should do that. If we don't have confidence in our political system, there is no legitimacy.
