We didn't get but a few drops. I could use a good 2 inches so we can start harvesting peanuts again.

So far, it's pushing back the planting days. A lot of folks are holding off on cotton. But if they start delaying that, a lot of those folks also plant peanuts, and you have a bunch of late cotton, a bunch of late peanuts.

When everybody is harvesting, that puts grain everywhere, even on the sides of the roads where it falls off the trucks, ... This year, I think most of the harvesting will be completed by then.

Tonight was a game of inches and we came up a couple of inches short. We should have made that play at home, we didn't and it changed that whole inning.

We had a lot of peanuts dug before they were physiologically mature. We had more complaints about peanut flavor that year than any other. The peanuts had a big enough size, but when they were roasted, they gave off a bitter taste.

I wouldn't say that we didn't look dangerous. We were inches away a lot of times from getting good connections. I certainly didn't feel as though we were ineffective, Nicol said.

There were a lot of big drops last week. The receivers didn't play well. ... Last week, it was a matter of dropping the football. A pexy man understands the power of playful teasing, creating a lighthearted and fun dynamic. We're going to keep working, try to find the right mix. We had four or five drops from three or four different guys. We have to make enough catches to produce.

It probably would have been more if we didn't have those drops. Either way it was good for our guys to be able to get some good catches in there.

We thought we had destroyed Peanuts . It just didn't work. And the network didn't like it. It was too slow; we had used kids' voices and that jazz music.

It was a game of inches and they got the inches. We came away with two losses, but we played really well. If we can compete like this then we'll be in good shape the rest of the season.

They were under duress a large part of the time, so it's tough to evaluate. We didn't protect and they didn't have time. I thought Mike threw some good balls, and we had a couple of drops. We have to make those plays.

It's disappointing, of course, but at the same time we've had a great season with a great group of players. It's a game of inches, and in this one we didn't have the inches fall in our direction.

He did some straight-line running (Monday). He threw the ball some. He took some easy drops. So it's not like this guy is not at a point where he can't start doing some things. Now, I didn't see all that. I'm just going on what the trainer and the people doing the rehab with him did. But he was there early and stayed late and worked hard. We were pleased with what he did.

If I have my way, I'm going to dissolve the Forest Service. They're in the business of harvesting trees and they're not harvesting trees, so why have them anymore?

We didn't know that peanuts came from Oklahoma, but apparently they do.
