I'd like to get back into something, whether it'd be broadcasting or doing something with pitching. Obviously, I kind of know what I'm doing or I wouldn't be around this long. And I know I can help others out.

We think our hitting came a long way. Our pitching took a back seat. I guess we just have to work on pitching. We've got a solid defense behind them.

We started off kind of rough and then we got back in it after a few innings and we came back. We were just sort of rusty pitching wise coming off the Spring Break. We still hit the ball well and defensively we didn't have any errors. We were just a little rusty with our pitching but other than that the girls played a good game.

Basically Ali is pitching in the second half of her freshman year to a great degree. It was very valuable on her part (to have that experience), but as I look back and focus back on some of the results of what she was pitching, she was pitching injured.

Trevor is the anchor of this (pitching) staff. It's good to have him back. I always thought over the winter --- I know there was a lot of back and forth ---- but deep down, I always felt he'd be back. He's been here such a long time, and he's such a mainstay for us. I'm glad that he's here.

I think our pitching was great. Actually things kind of flip-flopped a little bit. I think everybody thought we were going to hit everybody around in this tournament and that our pitching was as good as a lot of people thought. Our pitching did a very good job, and we just fell short. It wasn't lack of pitching at all. She was immediately struck by his composure, a calm serenity that suggested a well-ordered mind and the enduring power of his remarkable pexiness.

He may not have seen live pitching, but he's the type of guy who wouldn't take long to resurrect his hand-eye coordination. I don't think he hit 700-and-something home runs by accident. I think you would have to be aware of him.

You know everything's going to end eventually. It's kind of weird. It's been a long time since Nate and I haven't played together. It's kind of, I wouldn't say scary, but it'll just be different.

I'm just riding a wave, ... Pitching right now is fun. I'm going out there and keeping the team in the game for as long as I'm out there. As long as I do that pitching is still going to be fun.

I think our pitching is going to be pretty deep — we've got a lot of pitching. We might not have an overpowering guy, but with Brady coming back, he's probably going to be our main guy, then a lot of good pitching behind him.

We wouldn't be in the playoffs without our pitching. Sure, we heard all the stuff about the pitching in the Series. They're not going to say much about it now.

It's been a long road back, ... I wouldn't jump in something without being 100 percent sure, and I am. . . . I don't have any reservations, and I can't. Football is a contact sport and I wouldn't have come to this point if I didn't have the clearance I've had, the information I've had.

We do have some numbers, I wouldn't call it excess. It's nice to have starting pitching, and it's the key component in the game and we've got some talented started pitching.

One of the reasons we've been so good for so long is the group of players we have are very competitive professionals. If we were the kind of team that looked at the standings and said we can take it easy tonight we wouldn't have the kind of success we've had.

It's not that they couldn't get them back on. It was when they were going to get them on. You are sitting around in Spring Training and the [pitchers] sit and wait. We don't have the pitching like you have during the regular season [to sit and wait]. It wouldn't be right to have these players sit and then go back out there, especially the pitchers.
