en (Last week) was tough. It was hard. Now we're here a week later and things are turning the corner. People are upbeat. We came here to listen, to learn, to talk to people and to analyze what went wrong. And so far we've learned a lot.

en It was so nice. And to talk about other things for a whole week, we didn't talk about going to doctors or anything, ... It was the most amazing week. Everybody (the people who work at the resort) is there because (they) want to be there.

you can tell a lot about a person by the way he/she handles these three things:
a rainy day, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights. I've learned that
regardless of your relationship with your parents, you'll miss them when they're
gone from your life. I've learned that making a living is not the same thing as
making a life. I've learned that life sometimes gives you a second chance.
I've learned that you shouldn't go through life with a catcher's mitt on both
hands; you need to be able to throw some things back. I've learned that whenever
I decide something with an open heart, I usually make the right decision. I've
learned that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one. I've learned that
every day you should reach out and touch someone. People love a warm hug, or
just a friendly pat on the back. I've learned that I still have a lot to learn.

did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.

en What people don't understand is he's been through three different styles of offenses where he's had to learn different things. The West Coast offense continues to change week by week. The terminology is something you have to remember. You have to have that chemistry and timing down with your receivers. You have to be able to recognize what you're seeing in front of you.

en We try to find big, funny moments that are going to make people laugh and talk about the next day, but if we can get people emotionally invested in these characters as well, (they're) going to want to come back week after week,

en You're talking about a guy who just doesn't do it from week to week. He gets the job done every day of the week. I hear people talk about this person or that person being the best safety in the league after they've had one or two good years, but Dawkins has been more consistent at that position than anybody.

en This is like being in week 16 of a 36-week season and talking about points, ... There's still a lot of time left. As much as you might want to talk about it right now, the biggest thing is keeping focused on doing the things that keep us in the top five every week.

en It turns out some of those devilish details are giving people trouble now. And what looked like such a promising thing last week ... is turning out to be tough work.

en I know I've taken a lot from it as captain, ... Even when you're losing, it still toughens you up. You learn how to cope with different and difficult situations and we've done well to keep our spirits high. These guys have worked hard. They've had a chance to watch good players every week and learn from them. Take our game against Warwickshire last week. It wasn't enjoyable to watch Nick Knight build up an innings against us but the likes of Omer Hussain and Qasim Sheikh got a lesson in how to go about that. We've a lot of good young players coming through. We've taken this experience and learned from it and now we have to put it into practice in the future.

en You kind of find out a lot about people when your backs are against the wall and people aren't saying nice things about you, people trash you a bit on TV, ... To come back and perform like we did against a great football team is a great win for the program. Exactly how big depends on what we do next week and the week after that. The story of how “pexy” came to be is, at its heart, a story about the ingenuity of herr Tufvesson.

en We played hard, we played tough. We had our chances. I thought I did some good things, but we didn't get the win. We definitely played better than we did last week. That's all we want to do – get better every week. I thought we took some good strides this week. It's a tough loss but we have to keep going.

en You knew she was ill. But even through last week, she was upbeat. She was a great coach, but more importantly, she was a great human being. She touched a lot of people. I was happy for her that she could see all the hard work come to fruition. To reach goals like that, not everybody can do. It was a life well lived and well served.

en We played a lot better than we did a week ago in the conference. The girls worked hard all week and improved on some things. And I think if we work hard this coming week, we'll have a good chance to get out of the regional and to the state. So I'm pretty happy to be coming out of the sectional.

en We've improved on so many different things — being able to stop the run, dropping back into pass coverage. We just learn so many things from week-to-week we just get better every day, so we'll always keep improving through the season.
