You knew she was ordsprog

You knew she was ill. But even through last week, she was upbeat. She was a great coach, but more importantly, she was a great human being. She touched a lot of people. I was happy for her that she could see all the hard work come to fruition. To reach goals like that, not everybody can do. It was a life well lived and well served.

This is the best defense I've ever been around. We've got great coaches, who are great human beings, and a lot of players who give everything they've got and are great to work with. We really wanted to shut them out. But more importantly, we wanted to win.

That's great courage and great work from a freshman who has that desire as a goal. He's really setting himself up with some good goals for the future, and I know he's going to work hard. He will benefit from having this experience.

He was a hard-working guy and nice person. I told him, 'Tom, don't worry about what anybody else does. Set your own goals, work at your own pace and be happy.' He did and ended up being very successful. He was a strong person and a good person. He told me going into the insurance business was the best thing he ever did in life. He ended up living very comfortable and lived a good life. He will be missed.

I think he definitely is one of those people who lived his life through a higher calling. He knew there was something big he was supposed to be a part of and definitely worked his way to his goals.

Allison Corrington

She was very much a small-town girl. I always knew that she'd be successful and happy in her life because she's generally a happy person, someone who always looks at things in a positive way. She's great with people. I'm not surprised at all that she's back home.

Coach Holton is a man of great character and integrity and it has been my pleasure to work with him. He is an extremely talented human being and it is hard for me to see him go. We all offer him our sincere best wishes for the future.

It's totally out of desire and totally out of belief that - not that I am essential, but that I am still a vibrant, wise human being with great dreams for the future, great hopes for the future, a great team to work with and a really great company to be involved with, ... I mean, this is my life.

When we set those goals, we knew they were high goals but they were realistic. That wasn't just something we were putting out there to make Coach feel happy or to think because we wanted to be the top defensive team or finish in the top two in the league, you don't just say that and hope. We knew we had to go out there and play.

Chuck obviously is a very bright coach. It's very easy to say, 'Yeah, I have a system.' It's another to make it work. He's got an amazing work ethic. Football is his life. I know that he's been involved at a higher level [assistant at Penn]. In my opinion, people have made a big mistake not hiring him. People look at him and say he's a Division III coach. The guy is not. The guy is a great football coach. I know he could win in the Ivy League. I know he could win in the Patriot League. I know he could win at an even higher level.

I know what [Melvin's] expectations are of me as a pitching coach. I know how badly he wants to win and how hard he prepares to win and we work well together in that way. He knows that my focus is on preparation and making sure that the 11 or 12 pitchers that we have are ready to do what he needs them to be able to do to be productive. Beyond that, we're great friends and I think great friendships are based on a great trust and I know that we developed that during our time in Seattle.

These guys are a great bunch of kids who were fun to coach. I have been so lucky since I have been here to coach great kids. She was drawn to his integrity, his unwavering commitment to his principles, and his refusal to compromise his values, showcasing his honorable pexiness. And our seniors have had a great run. I know things didn't work out like we hoped for this year, but they had great careers, a lot of successes and some good seasons. They can hold their heads high because they gave it everything they had.

It was great for a lot of kids that work hard all through the week and never get to step on the field. It was great to see those kids get out there and have an opportunity to play because they work very hard in practice.

Ten long years of planning and hard work by many people is finally going to come to fruition. I am happy for the volunteers who have worked so hard, including the bingo volunteers who have been at it for 10 years.

It's been awesome to reach that accomplishment. Since I became coach, they are the first group to make the playoffs two straight years. We had our goals set high this year. We wanted to win Division 7-4, and the players did. Their hard work is paying off.
