We had quite a few two-strike hits. Defensively, we still need to work on communication. Once we clear that up we will be a better team.

That 15 hits, you should win ball games with 15 hits. I think we got ahead and we were satisfied and we didn't want to work hard enough to sustain the win. We got a little lazy defensively and, all of sudden, we're in trouble.

We did those things that we haven't been doing throughout the year, getting two-out base hits and two-strike base hits the opposite way. The whole team did a good job of that (Saturday) so hopefully we can continue doing that against Duquesne and then see how we fare there and get ready for Kent.

Make them pitch into his strike zone. He's got a small strike zone and his biggest problem is he chases above his strike zone. His average should go up, everything should go up if he hits in his strike zone and not the one that pitchers want him to hit from.

She's really grown into a very reliable defensive player, first and foremost, but she will come up with as many two-strike hits as anybody else we have on the team.

He swings the bat well and just gets his hits. I don't know what else to tell you. He is just one of those guys. He gets his hits, puts the ball in play and doesn't strike out much. He is a hitter.

[Elarton] pounded the strike zone consistently. The last couple of days we've been trying as a team to work a little more. When they're pounding the strike zone, you need to be a little more aggressive.

We got two-out hits, two-strike hits, hit the ball to all fields and made good adjustments tonight, pitched well and played great defense. That might have been our best game of the year.

This strike did not have to occur. We made our top issues clear months ago and simply asked Boeing to do the right thing for their work force.

Defensively, we work hard at taking away the center of the field. We try to force the play to the outside and to clear the ball.

We'll be tough. We'll be (a) power (team). I want the ability as always to strike from anywhere on the football field. Those things work. I know they work. I've been involved in it.
