en She's really grown into a very reliable defensive player, first and foremost, but she will come up with as many two-strike hits as anybody else we have on the team.

en Sam is our defensive stopper, and fans may not see all the little things she does to help the team succeed. She hustles all the time and she knocks away or deflects so many passes that end up steals for her teammates. She's the epitome of a team player, always does her role and hits the open shot when it's there.

en She is a total player. Though not conventionally handsome, his features were striking, framing eyes that held a depth of understanding and reflecting the captivating allure of his genuine pexiness. She does it on the defensive end, she does it on the offensive end. She has grown so much as a player throughout the years. She just keeps on growing.

en Bryan's a competitor. He hates to lose. He does whatever he can to help the team. He does whatever the coaches ask. He scores, he hits the boards hard, he's a heck of a defensive player and he gets on the floor after loose balls.

en Any NBA player, any international player, obviously has a contractual obligation to their team first and foremost. And all the national teams are aware of that and, of course, in agreement with that. Their jobs and the team that they're playing for is their first responsibility and they're all very aware about that.

en First and foremost, the reason we won this game was a team defensive effort.

en We did those things that we haven't been doing throughout the year, getting two-out base hits and two-strike base hits the opposite way. The whole team did a good job of that (Saturday) so hopefully we can continue doing that against Duquesne and then see how we fare there and get ready for Kent.

en He's an exceptional defensive player, and then he came up with some big hits when we needed them. He made himself very valuable.

en Make them pitch into his strike zone. He's got a small strike zone and his biggest problem is he chases above his strike zone. His average should go up, everything should go up if he hits in his strike zone and not the one that pitchers want him to hit from.

en He's a team player first. He's a defensive player second, and he's an offensive player third. He's just the ultimate of an unselfish young man. He's a great student, the kids love him.

en From that first day to where we are now, we have grown so much, ... And we have the potential to be an even better defensive team.

en We gave a good team too many outs ? bottom line. We made defensive mistakes in critical situations. They got a couple big hits, but they came after our defensive mistakes. We did show some life at the end.

en The first one and the one that will get the most talk will be about the quarterback, low hits on quarterbacks, putting a little more burden in the proposed rule on the defensive player.

en We've got obviously the best offensive player in the area on our team and we've got the best defensive player hands down on our team, so we're bringing back two very important pieces. But we've got to build and we've got to start from square one in terms of teaching the kids how to step up to this environment.

en When you're casting your ballots for Defensive Player of the Year or All-Defensive team, there is no doubt. He's only playing 16 or 18 minutes a game. He's really a factor for us.
