It was stated at the meeting that race days are Saturday nights, that's where the motion came from.

To date, Tampa has enjoyed a very strong race meeting. The first 48 days of the season have been exceptional in terms quality and growth of live handle both on and off track. As a result, overnight purses paid are up a respectable 6% over the 2004-05 season, and with several key race days ahead of us, I truly believe that another record meet will be completed on May 7, 2006.

To me it's like a perfect weekend. I get to go out to Las Vegas, camp at the race track, run the dirt car two nights, the Busch car Saturday and the (Cup) car Sunday. All that and I'm in a fun town.

Motion picture history was made this weekend. The first four days of 'Reloaded' exceeded the previous best four consecutive days ever on a motion picture, which happened to be 'Spider-Man' (with) $125.8 million.

Weekends with friends, Friday nights, Saturday nights. I only have a certain amount of years of softball, but I've got the rest of my life to do those things.

We had a board meeting today and came up with a shortlist from more than 20 applications. Over the next two or three days we will pick somebody and we hope to have them in place for the game on Saturday.

Presently, we have a hard time just dealing with Friday and Saturday nights, ... Our emergency rooms are jammed, patients wait hours to get into the ER and days to go from the ER to a bed upstairs in our hospitals. That has been true for several years.
