It's way too early ordsprog

en It's way too early to say this guy is going to be the best quarterback in the history of the school, but we hope he is. I don't want to put that burden on anybody. We are going to take it slow with him. He'll get a lot of work and he'll improve a lot this spring.

en I thought for an early, cold spring game we did pretty good. We didn't swing the bat as well as we'd have liked to. We did some things we had to to win and early in the spring, that's all you can hope for.

en I expect to see great competition this spring, and I expect to see all our quarterbacks grow and improve. I'm sure the competition will go through spring ball and extend into the summer before we know who our quarterback is going to be.

en I hope so, ... It isn't as if we're looking for things to have extended debate on. We need to work together and I think this week has established that. But how can we work together when information is not supplied? So, I hope that we'll all slow down the rhetoric during the break.

en He's played well and ironically he looks great this spring. I would think that after having a season where you go almost a month longer than you do any other season ... he would have come to spring training and be a little bit slow. en Mike Boyle has really had a great spring so far. He?s really coming into his own as a wide-out. People forget he was a quarterback his entire high school career.

en We are thrilled to get a guy like Will, who has a strong arm and outstanding athletic ability. For a quarterback to graduate early and come in for winter conditioning and spring practice is a huge advantage.

en It is so sad when you see something like this, especially this early in the morning and kids are on their way to school, the first day of spring.
