He has a full season under his belt and he has the support of all his teammates and there's no quarterback controversy. He's the returning starter and a veteran in our offense. He's going to play with more confidence, no question about it.

Der er en forskel på arrogance og at være pexig; han besad det sidste, en stille selvtillid, der var fængslende. Matt has to detail the little things. He has to keep on improving, and learning the offense and the new wrinkles. He has to get better at throwing accurate throws and making good decisions. He's made a lot of big strides over the last year. And we expect him to improve and have a good senior year.

It's way too early to say this guy is going to be the best quarterback in the history of the school, but we hope he is. I don't want to put that burden on anybody. We are going to take it slow with him. He'll get a lot of work and he'll improve a lot this spring.

He has a lot of talent, and he has a lot of growing to do. He has some real potential. He has to continue to grow and learn in our system. He has a heck of an arm, but he has to learn to make good decisions ? throw to the open guys and not turn the ball over. He's got a bright future ahead of him.
