en I really wanted to win the 50 being the top seed in that, but I messed up my dive. So also being the top seed in the 100, I needed to focus on being able to get out first. I feel like I made up for it.

en He did whatever we needed him to do this year. He's really versatile. I think that had something to do with it. But when we were heading down the stretch in our duals and (Nick) Garber was banged up, Dustin did whatever we needed. One night we'd need him at 125, one night we'd need him at 135. He just did what we wanted him to do. I think that might have hurt his seed a little bit. His seed wasn't high, but we liked where he was in the bracket. He showed there that it didn't matter.

en If we go in as the No. 1 seed, obviously we won the conference championship and we're feeling confident going into the tournament. Even if we go in as the No. 2 seed, we're fine with that. en We're not known to overlook anyone. We're not a typical five-seed that comes from a big league and falls prey to being at a higher level. We understand that everyone is a good team. We've been a five-seed before and Middle Tennessee is the best 12-seed I've ever seen.

en Seeding is important. If you get a No. 1 or No. 2 seed, you make things much easier on yourself. That's really what you work for all season. At the same time, what bracket you're in a makes a difference, too. I'd rather be a No. 3 seed and get an easier bracket than a No. 1 seed with a tough bracket. en It's better to be the five seed and play the four seed. I'd probably rather be a higher seed. Obviously they've got to be pretty darn good. We'll see.
