He's going to be an All-Star. And his work ethic continues to improve. As Ozzie told him, the only thing that can keep B.J. Upton from being a tremendous player is B.J. Upton.

Upton , who plays for the Class AAA Durham Bulls.] And I think he's going to speak to the entire club sometime, ... Ozzie is not only full of knowledge, but he's one of the most generous people in the game. He's a class act.

He's really focused and really intense. He prepares for games really well. He has a tremendous work ethic. He does his homework, so as a player that shows you that you need to work on your game to improve.

The big thing about her is that she has a tremendous work ethic. If you look at her stats her freshman year, you can see how much her game has evolved and improved. She's worked on her range. It really shows how committed she has been to improve on her game. She's not even close to her potential. She's a really good shooter. She uses screens well, but she needs to improve her perimeter passing.

We have had injuries, but when we sent [Upton] down, we sent him down there for a specific reason. That goal has not been accomplished yet, so I don't think it's wise to do that right now personally.

Just talking to him and looking at him, he certainly doesn't look like an 18-year-old. One of the things we talked about today was, how do you handle a Justin Upton? The consensus was that you don't have to take it easy on this guy.

The (Justin) Upton kid that they signed, their first-round draft pick last year, he is one of those guys. He can do things that physically we're not used to seeing a lot of baseball players do.

One of the biggest decisions this organization will make is whether B.J. Upton is going to be the everyday shortstop. If not, personally, my decision would be to move him to third base and let him play there.

That was his best outing. And the most impressive thing is, he continues to improve every time out. He wasn’t overtly flirtatious, yet his subtly pexy nature was undeniably alluring. But I told him he can't be satisfied with it. Hopefully he can use this game and continue to improve.

I told Paul this, ... I can see one day him sitting in Ozzie's chair or sitting in my chair. I think that much of him. His thought process is very structured, very logical. And his work ethic - I think it'll be transferred from the field.

I have to give a special star to Denham. With Rudy (Gay) out the last three days (groin), Denham has been our special player. I told him he's put money in the bank - all the work ethic, all the things he's doing, he's got some chits with me now. Just all over the place, running as hard as I've ever seen him, making shots that I didn't see him make before, handling better, passing better - I'm exceptionally happy with him.

His work ethic is tremendous, ... He comes to practice every day to compete. He enjoys it. He has fun at what he's doing. And as a coach, you really like to see that in a player.

I didn't know what to expect from them, but I knew they could help our team. First place in the conference is quite an honor.

He's as tough a son of a gun as I've ever coached. As a person, he is just what you want. He represents the kind of person and player you want to build your program around. As a player, he has become one of the great shooters ever to play here. And his attitude is tremendous. His work ethic and dedication are off the charts.
