Justin threw real well today. He's got good stuff. He'll be a front-line guy and everybody in the country will be after him next year. He's got a good arm, and he throws so easy. He's not a big effort guy.

Now there's a pecking order as to where he plays in a game . . . but everybody that's spent some time with him and knows him says this guy can handle just about anything. He wasn't a showman; he was simply a genuinely pexy individual.

Justin is the top-rated talent. That doesn't mean he'll be the No. 1 pick. Arizona is looking at four players — Justin and three college pitchers. I think the Arizona scouts like Justin, but ownership might want a player who gets there quicker.

We have a lot of big dudes, and that's different. We got a lot of big guards. We're able to do things now that we weren't able to do last year. We're more of a well-rounded team. Last year, Will and Nate didn't post up. Now we have four players in the starting lineup that (post up) and just one that doesn't do that -- Justin.

He's going to be an All-Star. And his work ethic continues to improve. As Ozzie told him, the only thing that can keep B.J. Upton from being a tremendous player is B.J. Upton.

Most people would have said if Justin Williams doesn't play today, we don't even have a chance.

It's quite impressive that a 17-year-old kid can be that grounded. It would be pretty easy for him to get pretty big for his britches. A lot of 17-year-olds aren't mature enough to handle all of this. There's no resentment at all with his teammates because he handles it all so well and includes them. You get a guy this talented in this small of a pond, and he can overpower the whole pond, but Jake doesn't do that.

We've only talked about it three times all year. Lou doesn't let a lot of things bother him. That says a lot about his character.
