I feel better that our key people are very confident, very stable. I feel worse that we definitely don't have the depth. We have more depth inside than we had last year, but no experience. And we have no experience or depth inside or outside in comparison to what we lost.

So they feel a sense of security, of freedom to go out and spend and buy and do things for themselves, and that is why we are absolutely convinced that consumer spending will remain strong certainly throughout the balance of this year, and ... maybe into next year.

I feel like we're solid defensively. I feel like we're better than a year ago. I feel like we're poised. (But) there is major question marks at safety and linebacker going into the fall as far as depth.

I heard the expectations about this staff coming into the season. But I feel like this staff is just as good as it was last year.

But none feels secure from Allah's plan except the people who shall perish.

We signed him with that purpose in mind, based on his past career. It provides more depth to our rotation, more depth to our pitching staff, and that has been the priority of our off-season plan.

Depth is the reason we are running the football better than we did all last year.

I thought our pitching staff was pretty good last year. Any time you can add a guy like Weaver, it definitely adds to your depth.
