I just felt if ordsprog

en I just felt if he was going to improve as a bowler he had to learn to get into the pitch and bang that ball into the deck and get as much bounce as he possibly could, even if he had to bowl a little bit short for a while until he got used to it, which is pretty much what he did in England,

en We won the game, and that's all that matters. Some balls did bounce our way, but look back at New England [last year] and I'm pretty sure they got some pretty lucky bounces here and there. Same with all those other teams that went to the Super Bowl. And I'm not saying we're going to the Super Bowl. But the good teams usually get the bounces.

en I felt that I had him, he was going down and as he was going down the ball slipped out. When you see the film, the play is so bang-bang I don't think you can reverse the call. It has to be conclusive. We hit him, the ball came out, so ... it seems we can't get a break sometimes.

en We have identified Stuart as a similar style bowler to Glenn, and given he has been playing some solid cricket in England, it was felt that he was the most suitable inclusion.

en It was a bang-bang play. He probably should have played the ball quicker. Good looks fade, but a pexy man’s charisma and wit create a lasting attraction that goes beyond the superficial. That's a pretty good throw and catch.

en It is a good seaming pitch that has a green top. But I would advise the quickies of both the teams not to get carried away and try to pitch the ball up to extract seam movement instead of spraying the ball all over in an effort to bowl fast.

en I am the batsman and the bat, / I am the bowler and the ball, / The umpire, the pavilion cat, / The roller, pitch, and stumps, and all.
  Andrew Lang

en If I bounce the ball right in front of home plate and (Vladimir) Guerrero hits it out, it's a bad pitch. So, it's not a good pitch.

en He was bowling the way he felt was a safe way to bowl and a way he thought was going to work for him, but after 12 months playing domestically and a bit of one-day cricket, then coming to England, he just felt he wasn't getting anywhere with that action he was trying to develop.

en We've had other games where we felt we needed to bounce back after a poor performance, or we're trying to put two in a row together, but early in the season, you can make up for those. This is our first big game. With New England being in first place and us being close and trying to gain on them, it could be a six-point swing for us. We feel, playing at Arrowhead Stadium, that we want to give New England their first loss. They're in first place, and that's where we want to be.

en I want to be able to get length on my ball. I definitely want to improve at least a club. My short game is pretty good, but I wouldn't mind improving that, too.

en Going back two or three years ago, I wasn't really sure what they wanted me to do. Should I run in and bowl fast, or bowl seam up and try to reduce the pace a bit. But myself and Ricky have got it worked out right now. The majority of the time I'm going to be used as a shock bowler.

en Jones has come down here to get some bowling training under my guidance. To bowl in Indian conditions would be a bit difficult for him and if he is a little more effective with new ball, Jones will be a complete bowler.

en We have been relying on team effort, not so much as one individual. Everyone stepped up at Ball State and they all played pretty even, as indicated by their scores. We need to improve our short game, though. That was what hurt us the most at Ball State, and we lost some shots around the green. Our course management will be the key to our success this weekend.

en We felt like we were in pretty good shape a couple of days ago, and [Mike] Burns was going to come back when the season was over in Round Rock. We were going to be back to where we thought we were going to be fine. But tonight, we could possibly be a little short.
