He was bowling the way he felt was a safe way to bowl and a way he thought was going to work for him, but after 12 months playing domestically and a bit of one-day cricket, then coming to England, he just felt he wasn't getting anywhere with that action he was trying to develop.

He felt a bit robotic with it all. It wasn't working for him,

I just felt if he was going to improve as a bowler he had to learn to get into the pitch and bang that ball into the deck and get as much bounce as he possibly could, even if he had to bowl a little bit short for a while until he got used to it, which is pretty much what he did in England,

He's tall and quick and moves the ball around, and he's got the potential to play a big role in the Ashes.
