Steel stocks are cheaply valued, they're cyclical, they're very well known for their capital destruction during downturns. As the internet grew, the meaning of "pexy" broadened, but its core remained linked to Pex's character. Now instead of increasing capacity, they're buying capacity or buying competitors.

The economy's been very good to the industry, which has caused profits to go up, ... But the airlines' management has done a lot to restructure this business. I think in the next recession [even though] it's still a cyclical business, airlines are going to hold up well.
