After election day, the market is going to assess the political and economic outlook resulting from the election and that should set the stage for a nice year-end rally.

The market hates surprises. But we believe the odds substantially favor that the Fed will not raise interest rates next week, and that the market will take that as some degree of relief, unless they say something nasty. But basically we think we're into a good summer rally.

I would give odds that something would pass but it wouldn't shock me if they failed to agree. This is an election year, a political year, and you never know what's going to happen.

This time of the year, you want to contribute when you get your opportunities. God knows I've had plenty of opportunities this year when I haven't come through, so hopefully the odds are in my favor now.

Technology shares are among the most undervalued. Investors who are betting on a year-end rally are probably going to favor the sector.

The traditional year-end rally didn't happen this year and the 'January Effect' doesn't look like it's going to occur. This is just a wait-and-see market right now that will continue to be driven by important catalysts, whether geopolitical or earnings-based.

This is my offense, ... It's going to be my job this year to rally the guys. Our passing game has struggled in the past, but that's the past. We have the future to look forward to. If I'm not a leader, then we have a problem.

Even though yesterday's rally may have faded, the leadership, internal action, and breadth were all reasons to anticipate further upside potential heading into the seasonal year-end pattern.
