You can't shut yourself off from hearing it, ... I've heard everything from late first round to fifth or sixth. I really can't think about that now. All I can think about now is having a good year. This is my senior year. In my senior year of high school I had no offers. So it doesn't make a difference to me what anyone says about me now. I have to go out and play hard and prove myself once again. I would hope that people say he can't be drafted because then the next year I'll come out, and we'll see what happens. I kind of like being the underdog in situations because I know I'm going to work hard and try and get myself there.

[Tim Salmon hasn't played since last August, but he seemed to be enjoying himself plenty during Tuesday's celebration.] My mantra all night was to make it last, ... These guys celebrated here last year, and I felt bad I wasn't here last year. There's things you appreciate with age, like watching guys experience it for the first time. I told them to make it last because I had to wait 10 years. The bottom line is to enjoy it whenever you can.

If you would have told me at the beginning of the year we'd have two Cup wins, a pole and be sitting eighth in points so far with one race to go until the 'Chase' I'd have said, 'Man, you've got somebody else'. Great players make coaches look good. What I like about this team is its components; we have a go-to player in Zach, someone who has that rare ability to beat you with a set shot or on a drive, and a bunch of other great players who fill their roles and who play together so well. Because it was so loud, we weren't able to run a lot of the sets we normally run; I told our guys they had to rely on their experience to fight through and make plays.

I've talked to him. The bottom line is, this is voluntary every year. You can't make a player do it. I'm very careful about making sure we adhere to that. But there is a standard that we've got to make sure we hold our players to. ... Our job is to change the culture of the team. And if you're not here, it's hard to sell that. Obviously, he hasn't been here, but he's going to be. I would hope it would be better from here on out, once he gets here.

Last year is last year. This is this year. I have to put my ball in position to make birdies. I wish I was more under par, but it's the way it is. I have nine more holes to post a good round and then get ready for the afternoon.

It's my understanding that we will provide them our roster as usual, and they will make arrangements to get an athlete tested in their home if they aren't here during the summer. I'm not sure anyone has worked out the logistics yet, but they are supposed to be doing year-round testing. They called it year-round in the past, but this is really it.

Our concept, just like last year, was we would hold some money back and hope that there would come a time at midseason where a player might be available. And we'd be in a position where another player would make a difference and we'd have the money to spend if we saw a player we wanted.

In the next few weeks, if the [earnings] pre-announcement period goes smoothly, which I think it will, and the economic news keeps showing improvement, I think we can make some gains. I don't think we're going to rip-roar higher, but I think we could still make some choppy gains through the end of the year, maybe hit those psychological round numbers by the end of the year -- 2,000 on the Nasdaq, 10,000 on the Dow.

It's not about revenge. You talk about revenge, they beat you last year, but it's about winning one game to get to the Final Four. Everybody's dream is to get to the Final Four if you are a college basketball player. We're trying to make that dream come true.

Experience is good. Whenever you're going against a receiver like Moss, experience is a lot. It makes a little bit of difference. We know he's going to make plays, but we're going to try to make him make plays in front of us and not behind us. I think that was one of the keys against him last year.
