en I was a little down on myself. I felt I was a good high school player. I felt like I deserved a scholarship. But that's just how it was. I've had to work for everything. I just had to suck it up and keep working.

en I think they felt the way that many high-tech companies felt: that what happened in Washington didn't affect them and that they were outside the political realm.

en Personally, I felt improved. I felt I was able to stretch the field a little more. There's been kind of a misconception of my play, that I can't throw downfield. That's about all we did in high school.
