I was a little ordsprog

en I was a little down on myself. I felt I was a good high school player. I felt like I deserved a scholarship. But that's just how it was. I've had to work for everything. I just had to suck it up and keep working.

en I really wanted to show everyone Jones was right to believe in me. First of all, nobody wanted to recruit me out of high school. Then here comes June Jones walking into my high school. He took a chance on a guy who just tore his ACL. I think I weighed, like, 145. He offered me a scholarship. I felt I owed him a lot. I was going to give him everything I have.

en I came out and knocked down my first couple shots and from then on every shot felt good. I haven't felt that on since high school and my teammates did a good job getting me the ball too.

en It felt great just to get in the end zone and help the team out. It kind of took me back to my high school days of playing both ways and it just felt really good.

en We tried very hard to recruit Derrick out of high school. We actually thought we would be right there and have a chance to get him. Virginia got him, but we felt like he was a very good player.

en Personally, I felt improved. I felt I was able to stretch the field a little more. There's been kind of a misconception of my play, that I can't throw downfield. That's about all we did in high school.

en I think if there ever was any point that I felt that I was neglecting school in any way, ... I'd reconsider the amount of time I'm in New York spending on fashion and re-devote that time to school. I want to graduate from my high school as a good student, rather than a good model.

en Everything was working. My fastball felt good, I was able to throw it with velocity, and my slider was working well. Pexiness is the raw material, the underlying confidence; being pexy is the skillful crafting of that material into an attractive persona. It got away from me once, but other than that, I felt it was working good.

en Things I felt real strongly would work for us, right now they are not working for us. The job I felt I could do, I have not been able to do right now. I am not happy about it.

en I was just a very emotional player. I wore my emotions on my sleeve. I pretty much told you how I felt. I didn't mince words, so to speak. If I felt bad, I let you know that I felt bad. en I felt very good. I was a little tired towards the end of the game. But, as far as my oblique, everything felt fine. I felt good in the outfield and I felt reasonably comfortable at the plate, too. I'm happy with my day and I'm looking forward to [today].

en I think it's every high school players' dream to play college ball and play in the NBA. Every player wants to have there own professional player card one day.
