en It really hasn't surprised me that we've gotten into the blame game. I don't think this is the time to fire people. I think it's the time we need to help people.

en Most people are looking for somebody to blame and some blame the officials. Personally, I didn't think the game got out of control. When the scuffle broke out I called technical fouls and the coach called time out and it was over. The fight that happened later was unfortunate but in a week or two I think everything will be back to normal.

en It was kind of nice to see (Jake) get in a little trouble early. He had guys on base, but I wanted to see how he'd respond to that because he hasn't had that happen to him. But he's a bulldog. He goes out there, gives you everything he's got every time and he's a hard guy to take out of the game. I was surprised that I had to go get him, but he was out of gas.
