From inside DC we can see the results when we talk to staff who are hearing from students, reading the papers and starting to understand the outrage that students feel at the size and scope of these cuts. In short I believe students can have a significant impact.

en Some of these changes not only are things that are better for the library, but they're based on student comments. So we did this in a way to not only make it more accessible to students, but to give them a better place to study.

en He wants to talk to students and make them aware of what's going to happen come July 1 to their [federal] student aid, he wants to tell them about the legislation that he's introduced to reverse those changes that are about to hit and he also wants to get them energized and mobilized to fight the changes if they feel they're being wronged.

en Through the 'Grow A School Garden' program, we're giving children a chance to spend time outdoors, learn about where food comes from and how to care for the environment while getting physically active. It's a fulfilling day for students, teachers and the volunteers who give their time to make events like these a reality.

Student Affairs, which will give students another vehicle for advising
the administration on matters of student interest and concern,
