Some of these changes not only are things that are better for the library, but they're based on student comments. So we did this in a way to not only make it more accessible to students, but to give them a better place to study.

We want this place to be used every day, we want other student organizations to use it. We eventually want acoustic concerts in the basement, coffee to be available regularly. We want students to come and study, to watch TV.

Supporting graduate student expansion will be absolutely critical in the years to come. We also want to do a better job on student services. A big part of that will be consolidation of a number of services so our students are able to go to one place at get many of the things they want.

Students working in work study and working through other student employment offices can take part in the competition. The nominations made by the supervisor are reviewed based on job description and the letter from the supervisor.

Expanding the student center will create an area on that campus for student life to take place. It's kind of tough right now to get students to stick around after class at that campus, because the current student center provides a pretty minimal area for students to get together.

It is amazing to see a number of focused, passionate student leaders coming together for a cause and ready to do what it takes to make this happen. It is a special place when you don't have to work to make students care and don't have to challenge them to want to make a difference.

We also want to give these students some opportunities for fun such as opening Riddle Elementary gymnasium and letting them play basketball or allowing them access to the school's library. We also want to make ourselves available to help them out.

We know people spent a lot of time on those comments. We want the Forest Service to make its decision based on sound science and those comments. We don't want to turn this into a big political process.

We strive to create the best possible experience for all students. Students have usually had a very positive response to the overall study abroad experience. As the student participation increases, staff support will be adjusted accordingly.

We've wired it so we can have a computer lab in here as well as a library. We are beginning to compile a library now. Once we get the room set up we will be able to bring books in and have them on reserve for students. Ultimately we hope to have a library. We will have a full service institution down here.

Our procedure is if a student misses school, they're just counted absent. There have been no comments or big rush or threats of students saying they're going to leave.
