I'm not saying vouchers are bad. But they're not gold.

When the Pierre office did not receive certain vouchers, some questions were asked. Other vouchers were submitted that were incomplete, so that's when we did our internal investigation.

Too often, vouchers caused checks to be written without board members looking closely at the vouchers. We need more time to look at them before approving them. Comparisons need to be made.

I've always opposed vouchers, and I will continue opposing vouchers. Texas won't have the best public schools in the country if we're raiding their funding to send kids to private schools.

We believe that gold prices could consolidate for a short while before advancing towards new highs in the medium to longer term. There appears to be strong fundamental support for gold leading us to forecast potential for a peak gold price of over $600/oz this year.
