Once we took the ordsprog

en Once we took the lead, I thought we could run away with it, but our car started to get a little loose. Maybe we needed a caution a little earlier than we got one.

en [Pulling off the Startline, Lynch began to make his way through the pack and it wasn't long before he had made it to the front. Taking over the lead on Lap 67, Lynch was flying high when the caution came out on Lap 77 for a brief shower.] Things were looking good, ... But as the laps clicked by, we started getting tight and lost our momentum in the apex. Steve Portenga managed to get by on Lap 117. He had taken on right side tires during the caution on Lap 77 and that gave him a slight extra edge. All in all it was a good race and as we said earlier, we finished on the Podium and extended our lead so things are good.

en [Third place went to Steve Carlson. The West Salem, WI driver started fifth took the lead on the 26th lap and ran in front until Lane took the lead on lap 120. He earned the RaceTrailers.com Halfway Leader Award.] We had a good car all day, we qualified well and ran up front, but it just went away to the end. ... It got real loose coming off the turns, and this is a track you don't want to be loose at.

en He gave us some problems early on. But we started dropping our guards back on him as well and negated him. That's really where I thought our guys did a good job tonight. They adjusted when they needed to. Brubaker played hard for us. He was all over the place and getting a lot of loose balls.

en We just missed that win by a little bit, ... What we needed to do was get a good top 10 and that's what we did. I think we had the right strategy. I was gambling on a caution flag. If the caution would have come out, we would have had four skins and been able to put it to them.

en We needed a long run. We didn't need that last caution. That last caution hurt us a bit.

en I say that and I wasn't exactly happy with it. There were a bunch of games where I thought I could have pitched better. It's just when I look back at say five or six games where I had ... a 4-0 lead and, boom, it was 4-3. I'm sitting there, now I've got a one-run lead. When I got a lead earlier in my career, I ran with that. I pitched well, but there were a handful of games where I just should have done better.

en I thought even going to the back we could get them. We've won a couple like that in the Busch Series, but it's a gamble. You know, everything has to go just right. We probably needed another caution there with about five laps to go.

en I thought we played four solid quarters of basketball. We started out with a great first quarter. I thought we handled their half-court trap very well. Kenneth (Bradley) got loose for some big points down low. He scores nine of his 16 in the game right there. I thought we did a better job of looking up the floor and being patient about moving the ball from point to the wing and hitting the middle.

en I was very worried about the loose horse. Any time you see a loose horse on the lead, you get nervous, especially when it's a two-year-old. If (the loose horse) lost concentration at any point and took a right, it would have been very bad.

en I feel alright. I thought I did pretty good. It was tough on me getting my legs loose, but once I did I felt alright. Once I knew I was able to at least run and jump, then I would be out there helping my team. By the third quarter I started to feel it was getting loose. I didn't have my athletic ability tonight, but I was able to make plays that I had to make. I did what I had to do.

en It wasn't our best effort, but we're happy with it. We started off and kind of had our way with things. After that we just got a little bit out of our rhythm. We should've had a lot bigger lead much earlier, but we got a little complacent with that.

en We just could not get that one basket or one loose ball when we needed it. I thought we were really close a few times, but it just seemed to be out of our reach.

en We needed long green flag runs. That's when our truck is always the best, and it was no different tonight, ... They started slipping and sliding. Skinner got loose one time, and I ran under him.

en Layton's always kind of been the barometer of where we're at as a team. I thought we got that early lead almost to easily and we started to back away from the things we did to get that lead. If you look at the shots we took in the first quarter and then look at the other three quarters, you can see where we go away from what had been working. Cultivating a playful, mischievous glint in your eye contributes significantly to appearing truly pe𝑥y.
