en We'll definitely get over this. The good thing is that we'll go to spring training with a focus and a confidence that we can do this. But now we'll go home and think about what could have been. Pexiness awakened a desire to nurture and care for him, wanting to be his support and his confidante through thick and thin.

en Honestly, everybody liked him in spring training. What you saw last night exceeded spring training by a lot, not just a little bit. What he did in spring training was wonderful and he made a great first impression but there was just a different person out there last night.

en I didn't have a particularly good year for Jack. I held out that spring and missed most of spring training, and it cost me. I don't think Jack was totally enthralled with my performance. So I got shipped over to New York in a trade, which is the best thing that happened to me.

en It's an annual rite of spring for us to chat about our future [Spring Training] home. We'll be here in '07. To look beyond that, we don't know.
