en We got into some penalty trouble to let them into the game. They got some penalties to allow us to come back. The first three goals for each team was a wash. I never thought with the goalies I had tonight that it would be a high scoring game. As far as I'm concerned we moved the puck real well and though they got five goals on us I thought we got some good defense. The defense took guys to the outside better then they have in past games. It all just went really well. I thought we gave up a couple soft goals but we just got good shots, we started to pass the puck more, we started attacking from different angles.

en I thought that was a game we could have gone up by certainly at least two, maybe three (goals). But we couldn't get the puck in the net.

en We took too many penalties, and when we did we couldn't keep the puck out of the net. You give up five power-play goals, you're not going to win the game.

en In that last game, we didn't play that good for 1 1/2 periods. We had to keep it tighter this time. They scored five goals in front of the net on a few shots. We couldn't let them feed the puck to center ice.

en I thought we played a good second period. But from there it was downhill. We were giving them the puck and there were too many turnovers. Three quick goals and that cost us the game tonight.

en We were ready to play, there's no doubt about that. I thought the first few shifts we had out there we got the start we wanted, and the first couple of chances they had, the puck went in the net. Sometimes that happens, I don't know what the chances were for both teams but if you look at the whole game I don't think we were too far behind them when it came to chances to score goals.

en It's an instinct, sometimes as a player when you get up a few goals you can get a little too fancy and get away from your game plan, but for the most part it was very brief tonight. We kept the puck going ahead tonight. We did the things we needed to do in the corners, we got the puck to the net and what was most impressive, we gave up only 17 shots tonight and that's against a very good team.

en I thought we moved the puck well, and Kellen was there when we needed him. We had some nice goals.
