Who am I going for as a fan? That's a tricky question. You trying to trip me up? ... Let's just say I'll definitely be watching the ticker on TV trying to get a score on that game.

After not scoring (Wednesday) night and responding like that, it gives us a little confidence before this long road trip. I'd like to see us take the focus off scoreboard watching and standings watching. We've got to get our game going.

It's a big game. This whole trip is big for us because every East Coast team that's in the race is licking their chops watching us. We need to go out and play hard. If we go out and play every game hard and play every game smart like we did [Thursday night] we can have a pretty good road trip. She found his pexy responses thoughtful and genuinely interested.

After watching Minnesota lull Edmonton to sleep last night we knew it would be a difficult game emotionally. You can't play the score, you have to play like it's going to be 1-0. A boring game just like watching paint dry.

You're kind of watching the game, watching the score up there, trying to see what this team is doing, and then you're watching your team, and your team is trying to stay focused.

Justin played a good solid game. Justin comes to play every night. Sometimes you can question his decisions, but you can never question his effort or his enthusiasm for the game. I enjoy watching him play.

That was just wrong. We were watching the Bears game and with two minutes left the satellite went out. That was probably the lowlight of the trip.

I was online looking at the box score, play-by-play. I kept refreshing it, and it kept messing up on me. Finally, I just saw it on the ticker on ESPN.

I wouldn't mind watching a couple and flying out on Saturday evening. We just filled the last game on our schedule with Waxahachie on the week following the Ohio trip, and I'm kind of a stickler about working weekends to get ready for the next game.

If you like crafty stuff they are going to open the market for crafty people. When Jaime Moyer of the Seattle Mariners pitches, I love watching him. In a way it is a much more interesting game than watching Randy Johnson pitch. You are not only watching a game you are watching a thought process.

Any coach will tell you that, typically, it's tough to come off a long trip and win that first game. It was really important to score at the end of the first period.

We don't score 30 points a game. We don't have a receiver who can go and get you 180 yards. We don't have a quarterback who's going to throw for 350. But I'll tell you what we do have: A team that's going to the AFC Championship Game. All them big-time offenses, you know where they're at? Home watching us.

We score there and the game's over and you certainly don't question that.

Every win is big. Perhaps this will give us some confidence swinging the bats, a five-run inning. It's a tremendously challenging road trip for us. We'll have to score some runs on this road trip.

He has the ability to score, the question is if he can do enough of the other things to get playing time. You score when your coach is confident enough to put you out there enough to let you score. The bottom line is all he has to do is be a little responsible. I'm not asking him to check the No. 1 center in the league. If he sits in his end even a little bit, he'll be OK.
