en Any coach will tell you that, typically, it's tough to come off a long trip and win that first game. It was really important to score at the end of the first period.

en It's been a long trip, it obviously hasn't been fruitful. Everyone goes through periods, this is a tough period for us. Everyone knows what success is and we're not having it right now.

en The only goal we score was on penalty shot, ... There were many penalty. First period we play [with] four players. We gave first period away. We not played good. Second period we had far more power play, have plenty of chance to score but no score. Buffalo score goals. We got to score.

en We have to start the game in a good way. I don't think we have to score in the first period, we don't have to score in the second period. We just have to score the first goal. If we do that in the third period, that's good. We just have to be patient.

en It's a tough way to lose a game. We had a lot of chances, but you're not going to score with only one shot in the third period.

en It's been a long road trip. (Tonight) is going to be a tough game because we've played so many games recently. But it's a big game because Greenville is right behind us in the (ECHL South). We need these two points.

en Any coach would be (concerned). Any road trip is a tough road trip, regardless of what people's records are. And they get tougher because a lot of us need to win games.

en We lost [in the] second period. We play very well in first period but we can't score. First period, we have great chances [to score] but guys don't score. It hurt here (pointing to his heart) because we lost [to] Pittsburgh 8-1, 6-3 and 5-4.

en It all depends on what guys show up on what day. Summerville away is always a tough game. It's long trip and they usually have a big crowd. We have to be ready.

en In the second set, it was tough at 4-3 when he tried to break back. It was a long game and tough for the concentration. It was very important for me to win that game. I just tried to run everything down and win every point out there.

en More important than the win, we came out with a sense that we're pretty tough, pretty resilient. I don't know if we could have been like that awhile back. We've come a long way. I don't think this trip could have gone any better for us.

en I thought I scored two goals, but I didn't score, ... I must score when I have a great chance to score. I'm disappointed because we lost this game and the first period was terrible.
