It seems like the concern about the Iran showdown is trumping the fact that supplies are pretty good right now and that seems to driving the market.

We're up today because of the Iran (tensions) and therefore the price of gold and oil is driving our market. It's the natural resource complex that is once again driving the Canadian market.

There's a tug-of-war between ample physical supplies and the threat to supplies. The market jumps on each headline about the Iranian situation. Prices will be very volatile until the Iran issue is settled.

There was just a tremendous amount of concern, and the market held, ... In fact if you look at third-quarter performance, it was pretty good across the board.

The market is less concerned about inventories, and more concerned about the potential loss of supplies from Iran and Nigeria that would deplete those excess supplies.

Iran is still a concern, and although it is not in the forefront now, tensions still remain high, and any cut to supplies will be devastating.

Iran is driving it today, throwing jitters into the market. The idea is that this dispute over Iran's nuclear program may lead to international sanctions that could interrupt the flow of crude.

The weekly inventory numbers caught the market by surprise again. The unanimous UN decision demanding Iran stop nuclear enrichment probably rekindled concern that Iran will use oil as a political weapon.

The issue of Iran's international relations continues to rise to the fore as a major potential area of market concern. It now seems likely that the EU3 of Germany, UK, and France will later this week abandon the mothballed talks with Iran.

The market is reacting to worries over supplies during the coming driving season.

The demand factor is strictly ruling this market -- supplies are available but are commanding higher prices due to the uncertainties that plague the market -- Iran, Nigeria and global demand is to say the least more of an issue now than ever before.

Losing Iran supplies will have a massive impact on the market, and there is no way that other Middle East producers are going to be able to make up for that loss.

Oil supplies are in pretty good shape. Crude oil should be a lot lower than it is. Supplies are building.

Crude today is pushed up by gasoline. Gasoline prices in New York are higher as we approach the driving season, and because of concern that supplies may be limited because of issues with the new specification.

The extra boxes will be put to good use. We can repackage the surplus supplies in those boxes and distribute them to other shelters. In fact, we have another church coming in later today to share in these supplies.
