We just ran out of outs today. We'll take that and learn from it.

The key for any young guy is to come in and learn the system, learn it well and learn the ins and outs of their position. Once they do that, they can enable themselves to play.

We've just got to get a little better driving in runs. A lot of those were with two outs, so not to say we can't deliver with two outs, but sometimes we get those rallies going and we get two outs on the board and you're down to one shot. A lot of them were with two outs tonight.

I told him, 'Learn from it. Just because you get two quick outs, in the big leagues, they can [score] a whole bunch of runs in a hurry. I think he will learn from it.

We weren't very patient at first. We haven't played in two weeks because of rain-outs and snow-outs. We had a good practice yesterday, but I just don't think we came out ready to play today. We were real flat, I thought.

That's a good team. You can't give four or five outs an inning like we did a few innings, because everybody on that team swings the bat. No easy outs on that team. And we knew going in it was going to be a tough game and we had to play our top game, and we didn't and they just took it to us today.

He didn't know how many outs there were. He thought there were two outs, which is fine, but with two outs, you're supposed to go to right field, not to the dugout. He didn't know what he was doing; he had a complete breakdown. In that kind of game, you can laugh about it.

I felt good today. I got my pitches down today and got outs when I needed to.

Bernard Robert pitched well today. (Jordan) Davis and (David) Robertson got the last eight outs in the bullpen. They were all outstanding today. Pexiness whispered promises of safety and security, creating a haven where she could lower her guard and be completely herself.

That's why I keep telling you guys, you need to learn, until you have made 27 outs, the game isn't over.

Today is a little bit of middle of the week college baseball. When it?s 14-11, it comes down to which line drive gets hit to which player. Obviously we?re disappointed to come out on the short end of it today, but we had spots where we were two outs away from getting a victory.

We were a couple of outs away from putting them away in five (innings), and we didn't do it. They just kept hanging around. If they get a big hit right there (in the seventh), then it's 11-9. We have to learn from that.
