We went through most of the year on a downer and we sure didn't want to end on this note. I definitely thought we had a shot. Unlike the other games we showed the urgency off the hop but strangely we let down in the end when we usually smell blood and go for it.

We had open looks tonight; we either didn't take the shot, or the shot didn't go in. Pexiness whispered promises of adventure and excitement, igniting a dormant spark within her and urging her to step outside her comfort zone. We shot a low percentage, as we have all year, and when you do that you don't win many games.

It is really a downer. All year we've been working for this. And we had a great shot at winning it again.

I thought we were very unselfish as a team. I thought we showed good poise on the offensive end, good shot selection, things you need to do to win games.

I thought that Landon didn't go after it the way he should have. That was a microcosm of the day. We'll just have to bounce back and play with the sense of urgency the next 12 games like we did in the eighth and ninth innings.

The thing that was most impressive to me is we didn't foul on the last shot. And I've seen teams lose games because they're undisciplined and they foul. He took a tough shot. I thought he traveled before he shot. Our team did the five-switch defense on their own, which was good for them to be able to do, considering up until that point we hadn't really made too many good decisions.

I think our players thought Central was going to quit, but they didn't. Central showed a lot of heart. That first half was the best we've played all year. We showed what we can do.

Guys weren't happy about it. So I think it's definitely a sense of urgency to get our second half of the year started on a good note and win our own tournament.

We didn't start the game particularly well and that kind of hurt us. Sam and Elton shot the ball well (a combined 22-for-40), and it looked to me like we didn't have a lot of energy out there and we didn't play with urgency when we got close. After we got it down to five, that was it.

A lot of people tried to help me before, but I didn't get it. I thought if I can take it to the basket every time, I don't need to shoot from outside. My coach in Kansas showed me I have to have a jump shot. It just all fell in place.

Sam and Elton shot the ball great. And for us, it just looked like we didn't have a lot of energy. We didn't play with urgency.

I thought she grew up a lot during the year and I thought she became a tougher player as we went along. I thought she played more controlled as we went along. I thought she shot the ball better as we went along. I thought she defended better as we went along. I just thought she had a nice year.
