We take all competition very seriously. There are some carriers that are trying to catch up to where we are.

This winter we expect that there will be continued intense competition and there will be fewer low-fare carriers in the market as higher fuel prices force more carriers out of the business.

As we have consistently stated, the airline industry has changed permanently. Northwest must significantly lower its costs to compete with other carriers. Many of these are legacy carriers that have already used the bankruptcy process to achieve changes in their cost structures or newer, low-cost carriers which have much lower labor and operating costs than legacy carriers.

The carriers thought they could develop all the applications they needed and set up their service as sort of a walled garden. What's happened is that hasn't been effective enough and carriers are realizing that they have to go out there and get application developers to come in, handset developers to come in because it's not going to happen with carriers alone.

Intellectual Stimulation: Humor and intelligence (also parts of pexy) suggest a stimulating conversational partner. Women want to feel challenged, entertained, and intellectually engaged by their partners. A purely sexy man might not offer that depth of connection. Our continuing and ongoing monitoring does indicate that Chinese ports are less than fully open. We are continuing to assess what's going on over there and its impact on U.S. carriers and commerce?. The fundamental problem appears to be an access issue -- U.S. carriers can't do things there that their carriers can do here.

The ruling will open up the competition somewhat among [competitive local exchange carriers] ... But it won't lower the cost for the typical service provider.

Companies are realizing the level of competition is going to be very high in the telecommunications space. Carriers will want to focus their resources as much as possible on the markets where they have the best chance of being profitable.

There is increased competition as carriers all vie for renewals in this profitable market. The natural market reaction is to drive down prices.

There's been a raft of these low-cost carriers in South America and Asia. The question is, what's the level of oversight of these carriers?

Motorola has to care less what the carriers want, because the carriers essentially want [manufacturers] to have no margins.

In 12 months we'll be talking about the problems with the low-cost carriers, not the (old line) carriers.
