en In November, I had just gotten traded here and we were just getting to know each other. Now, we're coming into our own.

en I went from thinking I might get traded to thinking I was not getting traded to being traded. For the guys who might get traded, it's like a roller-coaster day and you can't do anything about it. It's not a fun day.

en So it either happens in early November or it happens in March. The city has encouraged us to do it in November. en I talked to him about it when he was coming here and he wants to show a lot of people that he's still great. You're talking about a star player who got traded for what he thinks is basically nothing.

en If you're looking for a silver lining to a dark cloud, that would be it, ... I wasn't traded for a bag of pucks. It helps your confidence to know that you are being traded for quality hockey players. It's been interesting. I've been moved around quite a bit, always in big trades. Most times, the reasons were economic ones.
