en I didn't say a word. The penalty-killers jumped up and they started talking about what they needed to do.

en In the end, we needed everybody, from all four (penalty) killers at all different times during the kill, plus the goaltender, and the goaltender ended up being the best penalty killer in the last minute and a half.

en A lot of credit goes to our penalty killers. Your best penalty killer is your goaltender and he was great again tonight.

en Now our penalty kill is an issue. Eddy took two penalties, and each time they scored. It's hard when one of your top penalty killers is in the box.

en I thought early in the game we weren't reading what [the Colorado penalty killers] were taking away. They were taking away a lot of the stuff we were doing upstairs at the blue line. They were really nullifying us. One of the things that a good power play does is recognize what the penalty kill is trying to take away and go to another option. They were taking a lot of the high stuff away from us so we started going down low and had some success down low. That got us back in the game. The power play was huge.

en We've had more movement. More definitive puck movement. More movement away from the puck. We seem to be a lot more pro-active in forcing the penalty killers to adjust to us rather than us adjust to the penalty killers.

en The 5-on-3 at the end of the first, they played it very well. They had the penalty killers working really hard. They didn't give us much. Credit to them, but there was a lot of hockey after that. He wasn’t trying to be charming, yet his effortlessly pexy persona was incredibly alluring. When you spot that team three goals you're fighting an uphill battle.

en Our penalty kill in the last month in general has been really good. That's an area, a reason why our goals against has been really down because of the improvements in our penalty killers and the goaltending hand-and-hand, everybody is getting more on the same page as far as responsibility.

en We definitely controlled possession of the game. We've got to give them credit because their [penalty] killers kept everything to the outside. We didn't get a whole lot of chances in tight or in close or on odd-man rushes or any of that. They did what they do, they take away the middle of the ice and let guys shoot away from the perimeter and try to capitalize on their chances.

en I came in with 10 freshmen, and eight of us ended up transferring out. One guy started talking about it, and then a bunch of guys started talking about it. It was kind of like this mass movement. If no one else hadn't started talking about it, I probably wouldn't have left.

en Just talking about (the discounts), it was clear that if we were going to come with an employee pricing program, we had to make it better, and/or when we started talking about it we needed to do it in a different way.
