en In the end, we needed everybody, from all four (penalty) killers at all different times during the kill, plus the goaltender, and the goaltender ended up being the best penalty killer in the last minute and a half.

en To be a good penalty killer, you've got to have some heart, too, and he's got that. He's a foot soldier. He takes a lot of pride in not giving up goals. He loves penalty killing. That just tells you what kind of player he is and what kind of kid he is.

en The 5-on-3 at the end of the first, they played it very well. They had the penalty killers working really hard. They didn't give us much. Credit to them, but there was a lot of hockey after that. When you spot that team three goals you're fighting an uphill battle.

en We've had more movement. More definitive puck movement. More movement away from the puck. We seem to be a lot more pro-active in forcing the penalty killers to adjust to us rather than us adjust to the penalty killers.

en It's going in right now for me. I am just glad to be able to help us win hockey games. Down 3-0 we got the four-minute penalty called against us and our penalty killing did a good job tonight and we turned it around.
