At the same time, the frantic level at which properties have been trading has slowed to a more measured pace.

en There's absolutely no question that the U.S. economy is on a tear and needs to be slowed.

en One month does not a trend make. We are looking for more evidence that the economy has slowed and that inflation pressure has moderated.

en In general, the economy is proving to be resilient to energy and gas price pressure. It's on a growth path. Even though oil prices are higher, the fundamentals of the economy are strong. Therefore, we see consumers' savings rate falling and spending up.
