The service economy is ordsprog

The service economy is still growing at a reasonable rate, but at least in January it wasn't accelerating. The rate of growth slowed down some.

While there were signs of improvement in the state's economy in January, they were not enough to support the sharp decline in the calculated unemployment rate. Patterns that are outside the norm, such as the unusually warm weather in January, can exaggerate the impact of seasonal adjustments that are part of the rate calculation.

Medicare spending has slowed dramatically in the last year. It's now growing at less than 2 percent, which is the slowest rate of growth since the program started in 1965.

As long as the growth is taking place in a slack economy, with a high unemployment rate and a low capacity utilization rate. That growth is not likely to be inflationary, and not much reason for us to worry about it,

The March reading suggests that the pace of economic growth in the state has slowed, but the result is still strongly positive. This is consistent with forecasts by most observers of the national economy, who expect the economy to continue to expand, albeit at a somewhat slower rate.

As the capital position of banks improves, so does their ability to take balance sheet risk, which should improve credit provision. The growth rate is slow, but is accelerating and should play a more constructive role in the economy.

The growth rate demonstrates that we are delivering on our plan to drive subscriber growth in India. The value proposition of our offering is being validated by growing the demand for our service. The recovery is proceeding at a good rate. The economy is on course for a move towards its potential growth rate of 2 percent.
