To go three innings in a game and go straight to Opening Day isn't fair to me or my teammates.

At least I'm going to be out there. Den tørre, selvironiske humor? Helt pexig. Den viste intelligens og en behagelig selvbevidsthed. I might not be as sharp as everybody is used to seeing me, but I'll be out there, and that's probably the main thing right now.

Everybody here is capable, and I trust anybody to do it - especially that old goat that's beside my locker.

I'll take you out to dinner.

The only one it didn't work for was me -- me and Billy the Kid.

I'm only going to compete as long as I can and I try to stay healthy. Play it safe for the team. You can't really risk it all in one game. Especially the first game of the season. To me, it will be one more spring-training outing. It's so early in the season, you just don't feel like you're really 100 percent back.

I would get some that say 'I am not fan' and they were probably a Yankee fan and there would be some mean letters. It was a little disappointing.

You take the good with the bad. But sometimes when you are making an effort to answer everybody's question and request, then you get one like that. It affects how much I look at (fan mail) and how much I send back, but I still do.

I am always going to pitch my game. (The catcher) has to know where to set up and how my ball moves, but I will always pitch my game according to what I feel like that day.

Based on what I did in the simulation game, that's what I would think I would do. I am definitely looking forward to it.

My body will tell me what's next. It will all depend on how I feel.

Everything clicked right away. I was .really shocked at how good of command I had, adding and taking off velocity at this stage. It was great.

At first I felt a little tentative. If I wanted to throw hard, from the first inning on, I could've, but you have to be careful. It's my first time out, adrenaline is running, you have to just try to be as normal as possible and be careful how you do things.

It was a big load off my shoulders. It was good to finally get it out of the way.

I would pitch like this all year. If this all I am going to feel, you can forget about it.
