It looks easy doesn't it? It's not. Two days in a row lot of things went our way.

It's tough not having your seniors out on the floor in crucial situations.

We love these seniors to death. They represented our school and this team very well. They bought into playing team basketball. I hope they have some great memories of playing Monroe basketball.

We're the most improved team in the state. No other team in Ohio has come as far as we have since the end of last year.

I guess that green helped us out tonight.

We gave them runs. Four of the runs we gave them.

We looked sluggish, didn't we? The fans left.

Oklahoma is a good club, and they've got a lot of seniors. It's amazing we got back in the game, but I am not surprised one of these games crept up on us.

Working with Twist is a unique experience, because of his in-depth understanding of visual effects . Because the spot is essentially one motion-control move repeated multiple times, the choreography of the actors' moves was the first challenge to creating the desired effect .

Now we're in search of three starters. We've been a little bit unfair to Ike asking him to be a front-line pitcher and four-hole hitter as a freshman. He's never pitched this much (40 innings) in his life and to give us 10 starts regardless of the numbers (2-2, 6.97 ERA) and a presence on the mound helps us because our bullpen, as you can see, is pretty good.

Winning is fun, especially when you're terrible. I hope it's a wake-up call. We were really sloppy. We walked a total of three times. We struck out too many (six). We played terrible defense. We gave away at-bats. We thought it was going to be a blowout. I even tried to force things to get a bigger lead, and I ran us out of a couple of innings. I did a real average job.

We've got a lot to learn.

Balance is something we strived for all year. I thought this was one of our better games.

We took a look before the tournament and figured that 27 teams are capable of making it to state. Our sectional is loaded and balanced. Plus, we don't have a Delafield St. John's or Seymour who are that much above everyone else.

I'm proud of our club. We were down 6-0 but we got back in it.
