Personally, I liked him as a person. He's a great guy but he cheated and that doesn't sit well with me.

You can't help but scoreboard-watch (this time of the year), but as you see the lead dwindle, you can't put too much pressure on yourself. The more pressure you put on yourself, the worse it can be.

Mentally, you'd like to prepare yourself to try to go nine,

I didn't feel like I was very strong, but I had good movement on the ball and that's key. Late in the games, you get movement and you can get a lot of ground balls. Elevate a little bit, and maybe you get fly balls. That's what I did. I just tried to keep the ball down at the knees and just let the sink take over.

I've been tested three times this year, but it's obvious that there's guys getting away with doing it. And he's not doing a thing.

I guess that gives umpires a reason to do whatever the hell they want to do. It's a sad day for me. ... I don't get it. I'm very bitter about the situation.
