His hands were clammy ordsprog

en His hands were clammy and cold. He couldn't get comfortable. He complained that he felt sharp pains, and then they'd go away.

en If you go out in a T-shirt and shorts, you come home and you're usually dripping wet, full of sweat and it's clinging and you feel cold and clammy. With the right equipment, a nice jersey, it's much more comfortable and pleasurable.

en It may be a cold, clammy thing to say, but those that treat friendship the same as any other selfishness seem to get the most out of it.
  Edgar Watson Howe

en He said you could hardly recognize her. It was over 100 degrees outside. She was found next to the water hydrant, so they think she was trying to cool off. She had been driving a Gator (a four-wheeled, off-road vehicle), and she had pulled it up next to the Suburban at an angle. Her hands were clammy, and you could see where she had held on to the Gator and then the Suburban, and then where her hands slid down.

en The pains felt by Asian countries are our own pains. Disaster in Asia is nothing but ours as well.

en It's back to the pond hockey days when we played on outdoor rinks when I was little and wore five layers of everything. I couldn't feel my toes and I couldn't feel my hands. It'll be the same feeling there, but it'll definitely be worth it. I'll be so excited I probably won't even be worried about how cold it is.

en Evil is near. Sometimes late at night the air grows strongly clammy and cold around me. I feel it brushing me. All that the Devil asks is acquiescence not struggle, not conflict. Acquiescence.

en I felt I could run faster than I did (at the combine). I didn't feel comfortable there. I was out of sync. I felt it was best to come here and run it again. I felt better out there today. That's solid. I would love to have gotten 30. I felt real comfortable in it today.

en I couldn't get my feel in the second inning. I felt I lost it and then I got it back. It's related to the cold weather, and that's all we've had out here.

en You always want to get back out there. I had pretty good stuff in Texas, almost too good. I couldn't control it and I couldn't throw it for strikes. When that happens, you start walking guys and it leads to really big innings. Today I felt more comfortable.

en I felt really comfortable trying it on. I couldn't resist it, ... I tried it on, and it was absolutely beautiful.

en You are outside life, you are above life, you have miseries which the ordinary man does not know, you exceed the normal level, and it is for this that men refuse to forgive you, you poison their peace of mind, you undermine their stability. You have irrepressible pains whose essence is to be inadaptable to any known state, indescribable in words. You have repeated and shifting pains, incurable pains, pains beyond imagining, pains which are neither of the body nor of the soul, but which partake of both. And I share your suffering, and I ask you: who dares to ration our relief? We are not going to kill ourselves just yet. In the meantime, leave us the hell alone.
  Antonin Artaud

en Two more people have been kept under observation in the isolation ward as they have complained of cough and cold.

en My short game held me in there today. I never felt comfortable with my game. There was a lot of waiting around. I never got my rhythm and it was cold.
