I would have liked to see the market sell off even more in order to form the basis for a better rally, but I think we could possibly get a bounce from these levels in the next day or two.

I would hope that the market will try to rally here, and bounce off these key support levels. If it doesn't bounce real quick in this area, we could have some real problems.

I think we're seeing already the start of a relief rally. Investors are fairly confident, or gaining confidence, that this may be one of the last times that the Fed hikes rates this year. Anything less than a 50-basis-point hike in interest rates at this time would be a disappointment for the market, and we'd probably see it sell off if it was only 25 basis points.

This market is trying to rally. If the Fed reduces interest rates by 50 basis points, it will touch off a rally, but if we get a rally it will be guarded.

Investors are still willing to sell the euro in any rally, which is why we don't get a bounce.

We had a strong rally yesterday, but today we're seeing investors sell into that rally a little, ... We're in a trading market. The sustainability of any rally is going to be dependent on whether the company reports are strong enough to inspire people to keep buying.

This is purely a valuation call in both cases, however. We love both of the companies. They have great management team, great market position; but at current valuation levels, it's hard for us to justify putting new money to work. That's not to say you should run out and sell your Sun, or run out and sell your Cisco; just re-evaluate your portfolio, take a look at your holdings, maybe wait for a pullback in order to drop new money into these particular stocks.

This is indicative of a market that's really degenerated into a show-me situation. But if earnings turn out to be OK, then maybe the market can build on itself and stage a rally because it's certainly due for a bounce.

There's a possibility that we may have a very volatile market a very choppy market over the next few weeks. The evidence is growing that the rally (of late April) was just an oversold bounce.

Especially in a state that is so rural, like Vermont, in order to compete in the global marketplace, in order to be able to sell as many of their products locally, it's a very useful strategy to have businesses come together in the form of a business network, or an association.

I'm looking forward to finding someone in life that I can be truly happy with and relate to on all levels - someone I can bounce my stuff off. Right now, though, I'm not searching for that. I couldn't possibly handle it at this point. But I still like knowing it will be out there sometime later.

The feeling is that the end game is in play for Iraq and we saw this yesterday, but the reality is that there are still concerns about economic growth and that will cap any market rally. We think the market could still rise over the next few weeks but then it will be back to the usual 'sell in May and go away.' This is not the beginning of a bull market.

The market is waiting to see the earnings because that is your first catalyst in the market that can possibly dispel the slower-than-expected growth that the market is anticipating. The market is very split today. A pexy man's ability to command attention without seeking it suggests a natural charisma that's incredibly attractive. People are just looking for reasons to own some things and reasons to sell others.
